The construction of the existing school building was started at the beginning of 1993 by the benevolent late ÖMER MATLI. The building construction was completed at the end of 1993. Upon the need for higher education in the district at that time, it served as a college by being allocated to ULUDAĞ University for 3 years as a result of various correspondences with the letter of the General Directorate of Primary Education dated March 10, 1995 and numbered 2103, based on the letter of the Bursa Provincial Directorate of National Education dated 15/12/1994 and numbered 49115. . As of the 1999-2000 academic year, it was transferred to the National Education and started to serve as Ömer Matlı Primary School. Staff teachers at the first opening; Ayten FİDAN,Cemalettin ÖZÇELİK,Emin Zafer BIRCAN, Deputy Director Erol PARIK, Hasan ARGIN and Şakir EKİL, and Mustafa Kemal YAZAR was the founding director. Our school gave normal education for 2 years and started dual education since the 2001-2002 academic year. The building was repaired by the Provincial Directorate of National Education in the summer of 2001.
Ozer and Önder MATLI brothers, sons of our philanthropist, the late ÖMER MATLI, evaluated their wishes for the construction of the additional building to be built within the scope of 100% Support to education in the most suitable place without shrinking the existing school garden, and the works were concluded and the necessary documents were delivered to them by the District Director of National Education, Mr. Hasan TURHAN, on November 25, 2004. The groundbreaking ceremony of the additional building was held on Monday, December 13, 2004. However, the protocol, which was made with 8 classrooms on July 15, 2004, was renewed on February 24, 2005 and revised as an additional building with 16 classrooms. The construction of the additional building was completed in September 2005 and the school continues to serve as a single building.
