Eggs with spinach

We present the onion added version of ''eggs with spinach'', one of the main egg dishes of Turkish cuisine which we all prepare at home. If you like, you can also add ground meat or the leftover rice dish.


4 Burdan Eggs
500 gr. spinach
1 dry onion
1 tablespoon of butter
Rock salt
Black pepper


Chop the onions. Cut the spinach in large pieces. Start roasting the onions on a pan with butter. After adding the salt and black pepper and roasting for 5 minutes, add the spinach and roast them for five more minutes. Put the roasted spinach and onions into a cup which you can place in the oven. Break Burdan Eggs onto the spinach and onions and bake them for 10 minutes at 190 degrees. Enjoy...
