Lokma with honey

A delicious dessert from Ottoman cuisine, prepared with eggs. I could not get enough of this recipe which I adapted for you from the book ''Chef'' by Mahmud Nedim bin Tosun. If you like, you can have it after dinner or at tea time.


3 Burdan Eggs
2 bagels  
6 tablespoons of honey
1 tablespoon of sesame 
Oil for frying


Make smaller pieces of the bagels in a bowl. Break Burdan Eggs onto the pieces and mix them until a dough is formed. Make walnut-size pieces out of the dough and fry them until their color is golden yellow and then put them onto the serving plate. Pour honey on top of them. Serve after adding the sesame. Enjoy...
